SACRAMENTO INSULATION RELOCATES TO EZ
Sacramento Insulation Contractors has relocated to a more
spacious site at the Yuba County Airport Industrial Parks, and with it, expanded its
services. The company moved from Industrial Drive in Yuba City into 26,000 square
feet of the former Pratt & Lambert Paint Company building on Melody Road. The old
office was about one-fourth the size.
Based in Sacramento, the insulation company is a subsidiary of The Hill
Companies, which operates under six other names, all in the construction field. The Hill
Companies, in turn, is a subsidiary of BSI Holdings, Inc., which also operates the
American Aluminum & Insulation Co., Inc., Q.I. Corp., and Williams Insulation. All
together, they are located in 96 cities representing 26 states.
Sacramento Insulation Contractors moved into the Yuba-Sutter area almost three
years ago when it purchased Hawkins Insulation. It recently completed the buyout of
Hawkins Windows. The two Hawkins companies had once comprised Hawkins Industries and have
had presence in the Mid-Valley for more than 30 years.
The local office employs more than 30 people, which includes 10 office staff.
The others are installers. In addition to virtually all new construction insulation
services, the company also blows insulation into existing attics. It does not, however, do
the wall insulation for existing structures.
