The One
Stop Center is a cooperative organization of private and public
partner agencies offering comprehensive career and business services
to job seekers and employers. The chief goal of the One Stop
Center is to bridge the gap between job opportunities and the pool
of workers who are qualified to fill them.
 Combining
business needs with training opportunities produces state-of-the-art
skill training to meet workplace challenges, and enhances business
retention and expansion opportunities. Employers can access labor
market data, financial services, tax credit information, marketing
assistance, or job placement services from One Stop Centers in each
county. Other One Stop Center services include customized employee
recruitment, financial incentives for training, interviewing
facilities, training rooms, computer labs, and business-oriented
workshops.
Under the North Central
Counties Consortium (Workforce Investment Board or WIB), Yuba,
Sutter, and Colusa Counties business and workforce developers have
agreed on a regional collaboration to implementing our tri-county
region's "One-Stop" system. A single telephone
number has been implemented at (530) 741-4151, for employers to
contact to receive assistance with workforce development and
business services.
