the Yuba-Sutter Region have committed their collective and continuous administration and
assistance to enterprise zone businesses and industries. Additionally, the staff of the
Yuba-Sutter Enterprise Zone and the Yuba-Sutter Economic
Development Corporation are committed to helping you in a joint effort to make your

Yuba-Sutter Counties Small Business Development Center
The California Small Business Development Center Program is a partnership between the
State of California and the U.S. Small Business Administration, the California Community
Colleges' Chancellor's Office, and the Yuba Community College District. The
Yuba-Sutter Counties Small Business Development Center was created as part of a statewide
plan to help in the development of new small businesses and the expansion of existing
small businesses by providing a comprehensive network of services available to the
entrepreneur. These services include: in-depth, one-on-one consulting; business
planning and management assistance; financial analysis and loan documentation; marketing
and technical assistance; small business education and training; workshops, seminars, and
classroom instruction; access to federal, state, and local programs including specialized
loans and loan guarantee programs, procurement, import/export assistance, and regulatory

Yuba-Sutter Economic
Development Corporation
The Yuba-Sutter
Economic Development Corporation serves as the focal point for
improving economic opportunities in the Yuba-Sutter region by
supporting current businesses, attracting new businesses, and
creating jobs. The YSEDC was formed and approved as a nonprofit,
public benefit corporation by California's Secretary of State in
November 1994. The organization opened its doors on July 1, 1995.
Its 33-member board consists of elected officials, community
representatives, and private sector interest groups. Services
include: site location and business expansion, loan
assistance, job training assistance, business attraction and
retention, and technical and financial coordination.
